Waitlist Roundup! Fall 2024

This is the waitlist for Fall Recreational Registration.

We do not have waitlists for individual classes, though we do have a general waitlist that you can join called Waitlist Roundup! This waitlist is for those who are trying to get into a class, but have been unable to because of classes filling up. Joining this waitlist does not guarantee that you will get a spot, but it will give you an extra, final chance to get into a class after remaining spaces have been assessed.

We will process any withdrawals or transfers on Tuesday and Friday evenings.

Regardless of whether you have joined the waitlist roundup, you can check the program calendar on those evenings for more chances to get into a class.

Why join Waitlist Roundup? 

Joining this waitlist lets us know that you are interested in updates for fall classes, if we open more classes than what is initially offered, we will send an email to those on this waitlist. If you were unable to get into a class during the initial registration, and unable to get into a class on Tuesday or Friday evenings when transfers and withdrawal requests are processed, the waitlist roundup is the next chance to try to get a spot!

How does the waitlist roundup work?

When registration closes on August 17th, we will process last minute withdrawal and transfer requests. Class numbers will also be tallied and classes with low registration numbers may be cancelled while classes in high demand may be increased.

Those on the waitlist roundup will be given a registration code so that they will not be competing with the general public for remaining class spots on August 20th. The registration code will be removed on August 21st and will be the final registration deadline before late fees apply.

We may send out an optional form to get a better understanding of which classes are still in high demand so that we can plan accordingly. We can’t guarantee it, but if there is an increase to the number of spaces for popular class times, or if we are able to open more classes in general, we will email those in this waitlist about the good news!

3. Click "Join Waitlist" and enter in one of your participants.
4. If you need to check whether you are successfully on the waitlist, email info@ddgc.ca and we can double check.
