Camps During Covid-19

There are strict policies in place during this time as we enter Phase 2 of Return to Play. Only camp attendees, athletes, staff, and directors are allowed inside the building. The lobby of the building is closed during this phase.

To access DDGC, all individuals must comply with the following protocols:

You will be greeted by a coach at the gym entrance for check-in. This check-in process may be lengthy, if you can have this Release of Liability form and this Participant Declaration of Compliance form printed off and filled out prior to drop off, it will speed up the process considerably.

Daily Screening Checklist will be filled out before every training session by all coaches, staff, and athletes.

Camp attendees must arrive on time and dressed ready for the camp with their personal items in a small bag. Bathrooms are not available as changing rooms currently. When waiting to enter the building, guardians must accompany their child(ren). Please wait on designated markings on the ground.

Hand hygiene will be particularly important. Hand sanitizer must be used at the check-in point. If your child must bring their own sanitizer for health reasons, please notify our staff.

Once athletes have been directed into the gym, they must place their items in their designated location, and then proceed to the bathroom line to wash hands with soap and water.

We encourage arriving 5 minutes early to pick up your athlete to ensure they are picked up on time at the designated meeting spot. If someone different than the drop-off person will be picking up your child, you must notify a staff member prior to pick-up time.

During Phase 2, there is a strict hands-free policy for coaching – no spotting is permitted.

Athletes displaying any symptoms of illness CAN NOT attend camp.

For more information regarding DDGC's Safety Plan, please refer to the COVID-19 Updates
 page

We understand that this time can be difficult and overwhelming for many. Please be aware that more time in the day will be spent waiting for hand washing, and less time spent doing activities than any previous summer camp that DDGC has hosted.
